The Rings of Astra
The Rings of Astra is a 60+ page campaign supplement for Dungeons and Dragons 5.5e (5e 2024). It is an expansion to the game that includes new player lineages, spells, subclasses, items, and a brand new class. It has eight regions with their own factions, politics, and a wealth of areas to explore!
Player Options
For the Rings of Astra, I created eight new and unique lineages for players to choose. Each species has features that set them apart from the base options available to players while still feeling at home in the game. My goal was to create new choices for players looking for an experience not available in the base game.
Using this mentality, I also created new subclasses, spells, and a brand new class, the Arcanist. Lots of testing and iteration let me keep my homebrew content comparable with existing content.
Aiming for Polish
This is a book filled with numerous illustrations, page layouts, and tens of thousands of words. My goal from the very beginning was to create a product, not just a project. In this pursuit, I worked with contractors to see my vision for the book fully realized. I worked with a community of testers to improve on cohesion, page layout, clarity, and so many other factors to make this book feel like a polished expansion to D&D. I'm still gathering feedback and iterating on this project today!

Dungeon Master Content
I wanted the Rings of Astra to have something for everyone, so I also included several new regions for a Dungeon Master to develop campaigns within it. These are the titular Rings of Astra, and are filled with factions, urban legends, guardians, and much more. I wanted to give enough information to spark creativity without drowning someone in roll tables and superfluous content.
